Easy 5 Minute Banana Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients: 1. Bananas: 2 ripe banana 2. Milk: 1 cup (you can use any type of milk: dairy, almond, soy, or oat) 3. Yogurt: 1/2 cup (plain or vanilla works best) 4. Honey or Maple Syrup: 1-2 tablespoons (optional for added sweetness) 5. Ice Cubes: 1 cup 6. Vanilla Extract: 1/2 teaspoon (optional for extra flavor)

– Spinach or kale for a green smoothie – Protein powder for a protein boost – Chia seeds or flaxseeds for added fiber – A handful of berries for an extra burst of flavor

Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and break them into smaller pieces. This makes them easier to blend and ensures a smoother texture.

Combine Ingredients: In a blender, add the bananas, milk, yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract.

Add Ice: Toss in the ice cubes to make the smoothie cold and refreshing. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, you can use frozen banana pieces instead of fresh ones.

Blend: Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined and the smoothie is creamy and smooth. This usually takes about 30-60 seconds depending on your blender.

Adjust Consistency: If the smoothie is too thick for your liking, you can add a little more milk and blend again. If it’s too thin, you can add a few more ice cubes or a bit more banana.

Serve: Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately. Enjoy it with a straw or a spoon if it’s extra thick.
